QA Engineer for Offshore Topside Projects

About the role

Bureau Veritas is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to lead quality assurance activities on offshore topside projects, including FPU, FLNG, and brownfield sites. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining project‑specific Quality Management Systems in line with ISO standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) tailored to each topside project.
• Conduct quality audits, inspections, and surveillance activities on site, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and client requirements.
• Coordinate with EPCI contractors and oversee quality aspects of design, engineering, construction, and commissioning phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Material, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience in the offshore oil and gas industry, specifically on topside projects.
• Proven experience with FPU, FLNG, and brownfield projects.

Required skills

• Quality Management Systems (QMS) development and maintenance.
• ISO standards implementation and compliance.
• Quality audits, inspections, and surveillance.
• Experience with EPCI contractors and topside module engineering.
