Network Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Network Engineer to join our IT team in Central Jakarta. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our corporate network infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network performance and security to guarantee stable operations.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and security‑related issues.
• Perform routine maintenance, system updates, security patches, and configure firewalls and access‑control policies.
• Maintain clear documentation of network configurations, security settings, and performance reports.
• Collaborate with the IT team and provide support to end users on network and security concerns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in networking, network security, or a similar technical role.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA and Fortinet NSE 4/FCP (or equivalent).

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of networking protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP.
• Experience with security principles: firewalls, access control, VPN, intrusion detection/prevention.
• Hands‑on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and monitoring/security tools.
• Familiarity with Software Defined Networking (SDN) concepts is a plus.
