Network Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our network and system infrastructure in South Jakarta. You will work with routing, switching, security, and server platforms to ensure reliable and secure connectivity for our business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, install, configure, and optimise routing, switching, firewall, and server environments.
• Manage routers, switches, firewalls and security appliances according to design standards.
• Implement VLANs, trunking, STP, OSPF, BGP and related protocols.
• Configure firewall rules, NAT, VPN, and perform network hardening.
• Deploy and administer Windows and Linux servers, both physical and virtual.
• Integrate DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, VPN and other services.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, and handle service disruptions.
• Support upgrades, migrations, failover testing and disaster‑recovery activities.
• Document network topology, configurations, SOPs and low‑level designs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Informatics Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of hands‑on network engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of advanced routing and switching (OSPF, BGP, VLAN, STP/RSTP/MSTP, HSRP/VRRP, LACP/EtherChannel).
• Experience with enterprise firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/Firepower) and VPN technologies.
• Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark.
