Manager – Financial Crime SME (KYC & Transaction Monitoring)

About the role

PwC is looking for an experienced Manager to join its Financial Crime practice in Yogyakarta. The role focuses on KYC and Transaction Monitoring, providing expert guidance to clients and internal teams while ensuring compliance with evolving regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for KYC policy interpretation, procedural guidance, and regulatory clarifications.
• Review and advise on complex, high‑risk KYC cases and client scenarios.
• Interpret regulatory updates and translate them into practical guidance for delivery teams.
• Support policy impact assessments, procedural updates, and the design of compliance frameworks.
• Lead and mentor a team of analysts, fostering capability development and high‑quality delivery.
• Collaborate with clients on AML investigations, escalations, and improvement initiatives for KYC and Transaction Monitoring programs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial crime, AML, KYC, and Transaction Monitoring within a professional services or banking environment.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and ability to apply them to client engagements.
• Demonstrated people‑leadership skills and ability to manage client relationships.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
