Guest Services Associate (SBI)

About the role

The Guest Services Associate provides premium, in‑person and telephone support to all guests aboard the vessel, ensuring requests are handled courteously, promptly and efficiently in line with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest inquiries, concerns and issues via phone or face‑to‑face, maintaining a high level of service.
• Log and maintain accurate records of all guest interactions using the ship’s systems.
• Handle cash‑related transactions such as traveler checks, foreign exchange, gratuity adjustments and account settlements.
• Perform phone duties, including general enquiries, In‑Room Dining orders, reservation calls and telephone concierge services for signature‑suite guests.
• Execute night‑duty tasks, including emergency line calls and administrative handovers.
• Promote the Navigator App, loyalty programmes and other revenue‑generating services.
• Support the Event Coordinator with Mariner Loyalty Program administration.
• Adhere to privacy, accounting and health‑and‑safety policies.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Capability to work night shifts and manage phone duties.
• Experience handling cash transactions in accordance with accounting policies.
• Familiarity with loyalty programmes and mobile‑app assistance.
