Distribution Driver

About the role

The Distribution Driver is responsible for safely delivering beer and empty crates to customers while maintaining vehicle standards and representing the company’s brand. You will follow route plans, ensure timely deliveries, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑trip vehicle inspections and adhere to maintenance schedules.
• Ensure safety of the vehicle, cargo, and compliance with legal and company requirements.
• Deliver beer and collect empty crates according to delivery instructions and route plans.
• Load and unload products, verify counts, and obtain signed delivery documents.
• Control costs by monitoring fuel usage, reducing idling, and preventing breakages.
• Complete accurate fuel records and submit required reports on time.

Required profile

• Numeracy and literacy skills.
• Fluent in English and Swahili.
• Strong verbal and written communication for customer interactions.
• Ability to use electronic equipment.
• Basic knowledge of automobile engineering.
• Proactive, results‑focused, and able to work independently.
