Data Innovation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Data Innovation Engineer to lead the design and implementation of a big‑data ecosystem that supports analytics across the organization. The role combines technical leadership with hands‑on development to deliver scalable data solutions that align with our data governance and strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team to assess analytics requirements and define the architecture of the Big Data ecosystem.
• Design and build technical processes that address a wide range of analytics use cases.
• Coordinate project analysis, planning and delivery in collaboration with data governance, data strategy, data operations, data warehouse and application teams.
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms using modern analytics technologies.
• Mentor team members and ensure best practices in software engineering and data engineering are followed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Informatics Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of technical management experience and 6–10 years of hands‑on solution development.
• Strong critical‑thinking, problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities.

Required skills

• Programming languages: Python, Java, Scala.
• Messaging systems: Kafka, RabbitMQ.
• Data stores: NoSQL databases.
• Big‑data processing: Apache Spark.
• Cloud platforms for analytics (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
