Consultant for Terminal Evaluation of WWF GEF project in Indonesia

About the role

The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) seeks an independent consultant or evaluation team to conduct the terminal evaluation of its GEF‑financed Eco‑system Approach to Fisheries Management project in Eastern Indonesia. The assignment runs from October 2026 to mid‑January 2027 and focuses on assessing performance, outcomes, sustainability and compliance with WWF and GEF standards.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate project performance, outcomes, and sustainability against the terms of reference.
• Assess implementation quality, monitoring and evaluation systems, safeguards, gender and social inclusion, and stakeholder engagement.
• Review knowledge management, efficiency, and co‑financing materialisation.
• Prepare a comprehensive terminal evaluation report with findings, lessons learned and recommendations.
• Adhere to WWF and GEF policies throughout the evaluation process.

Required profile

• Proven experience in conducting terminal or end‑line evaluations for international development or environmental projects.
• Familiarity with GEF guidelines, fisheries management, and ecosystem‑based approaches.
• Strong analytical and report‑writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
