Community Manager (Indonesia)

About the role

AECC, an education and migration agency active in 15 countries, is looking for a Community Manager based in its Jakarta office. The role supports students with hassle-free application and paperwork processing while driving the company's social media presence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run social media strategies to build brand awareness, engagement and growth across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
• Create and curate content including posts, videos and graphics tailored to the target audience.
• Monitor and moderate social channels, replying promptly and professionally to comments, messages and inquiries.
• Nurture an online community, encourage discussion and resolve concerns.
• Work with cross-functional teams so social media fits the wider marketing and communication strategy.
• Track metrics and performance indicators and report regularly on engagement, audience growth and campaign results.
• Engage influencers, brand ambassadors and industry communities to expand reach.
• Keep messaging, tone and visual identity consistent across channels.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Community Manager or similar role focused on social media.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Ability to manage several channels and prioritise in a fast pace, with strong problem-solving and customer service skills.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of social media platforms and best practices.
• Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms and content creation software.
• SEO knowledge and digital marketing trends are a plus.
