Associate - Financial Due Diligence (Deals Transaction Services)

About the role

PwC Indonesia is hiring an Associate in its Financial Due Diligence practice, within Deals Transaction Services, in Jakarta. The team supports buy-side and sell-side due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and capital markets, analysing and validating the financial, commercial, operational and strategic assumptions behind deals.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and validate financial, commercial, operational and strategic assumptions for corporate and financial buyers.
• Work as part of a team solving complex business issues from strategy to execution.
• Follow risk management and compliance procedures and uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
• Handle, analyse and share data responsibly, invite constructive feedback and build an internal and external network.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; GPA above 3.0 out of 4.0 or equivalent upper honours from a top Indonesian or overseas university.
• Strong analytical skills and an interest in Financial Due Diligence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage clients and internal teams at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Required skills

• Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau is a plus.
