Assistant Sales Manager - Government Segment

About the role

Mercure Jakarta Gatot Subroto, a property of Accor in the business district of south Jakarta, is looking for an Assistant Sales Manager for the Government Segment. The role develops, manages and expands business opportunities in the government and public sector, supporting the Director of Sales and Assistant Director of Sales.

Key responsibilities

• Build strategic relationships with government ministries, institutions, agencies, state-owned enterprises (BUMN) and other related organisations
• Maximise room revenue, meetings, conferences, banquets and other hotel business opportunities
• Support the Director of Sales and Assistant Director of Sales in implementing sales strategies and achieving revenue targets
• Monitor market trends and ensure excellent client relationship management

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in hotel sales, preferably with government or public sector accounts
• Experience managing government ministries, agencies, BUMN and institutional accounts is highly preferred
• Good understanding of government procurement procedures and tender processes
• Strong knowledge of the Jakarta government and corporate business market
• Good command of English and Bahasa Indonesia, written and spoken

• Familiarity with hotel sales systems or CRM platforms
