Access, Communications & Health System Value Strategy Chapter Lead

About the role

Roche is seeking a strategic leader to shape Indonesia's healthcare system value and access strategy for innovative therapies. As Chapter Lead, you will sit on the Indonesia Leadership Team, driving national medicines‑access initiatives and leading a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain productive relationships with government bodies, the Ministry of Health, and patient organisations to improve treatment access.
• Lead development of public‑policy strategies that foster a favourable environment for healthcare investment and innovative treatment uptake.
• Oversee formulary‑listing processes and drive proposals that expand or extend access to Roche therapies.
• Shape communications strategy and campaigns aligned with the business’s long‑term vision and brand priorities.
• Represent Roche in industry trade groups and collaborate with regional and global teams to share learnings.
• Conduct early strategic analysis of local market potential for new pipeline therapies.
• Coach, mentor, and develop the team, embedding a culture of collaboration, integrity, and continuous growth.

Required profile

• University degree in life sciences, political science, health economics, public health, business or related field; MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in specialty therapeutic areas, preferably within pharmaceuticals, health economics, or private payer sectors.
• Proven track record of engaging senior stakeholders across complex, matrixed organisations.
• Strong communication, analytical, and business presentation skills.
• Demonstrated people‑leadership experience with a passion for developing others.
• Integrity, courage, strategic mindset and ability to drive national‑level impact.
