Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Equipment Engineering

About the role

As a Manufacturing Engineer you will play a key role in bringing new products from development to full‑scale production. You will partner closely with Product Industrialization, Quality and Operations teams to define manufacturing requirements, improve processes, implement design changes, install new equipment and optimise Capex investments.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to mechanical design, development and optimisation of production equipment and tooling.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and validate mechanical components using CAD and simulation tools.
• Evaluate mechanical designs for robustness, ergonomics, durability, thermal performance and reliability.
• Drive mechanical improvements to equipment to enhance performance, reduce downtime and support high‑volume manufacturing.
• Lead PDLM sub‑projects and ensure smooth transfer from design to manufacturing.
• Support equipment installation, process ramp‑up and troubleshooting using PLC/automation knowledge.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Lean Six Sigma certification (preferred).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, EHS, PLM, DFM and CAPA.
• Hands‑on experience in equipment installation, mechanical design, automation and troubleshooting.
