Sales Specialist (Supervisor) Retail - East Java

About the role

Wavin Indonesia, part of Orbia's Building and Infrastructure business, is looking for a full-time Sales Specialist Retail to join its team in the East Java area. The role plays a key part in driving sales growth and achieving business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers in the East Java region.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities aligned with company goals.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales deals in the target market.
• Work with the marketing team to develop and run targeted sales strategies.
• Provide excellent customer service and support.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and achievements.
• Continuously expand product knowledge and sales skills.

Required profile

• Proven retail sales track record, preferably in a similar industry, with at least 5 years of experience in retail or a similar commercial sales role.
• Experience managing territory sales, retail stores and sales channels, and distributor relationships.
• Experience managing NOO (new outlet opening) and expanding the retail outlet network.
• Ability to manage and develop Area/Account Officers to meet sales targets.
• Experience in the same or related industry is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Good understanding of POS management (execution, visibility, merchandising, sales performance).
• Understanding of sales processes, distribution channels and retail execution.
• Ability to analyse territory performance and spot growth opportunities.
