Quality Assurance Manager (ISO 17025/17020)

About the role

Alfred H Knight, through its Indonesia entity PT AHK Testing Indonesia, is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to ensure that services consistently meet customer expectations and comply with ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO/IEC 17020 standards. The role will design, implement and oversee a comprehensive Quality Management System across all Indonesian sites, drive continuous improvement, and act as the primary contact for KAN accreditation and compliance matters.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain QMS frameworks under ISO 17025 and ISO 17020.
• Manage KAN accreditation processes and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Review quality control data, identify trends, perform root‑cause analysis and oversee NCR and CAPA systems.
• Coordinate document control, facilitate external audits and plan management reviews.
• Provide clear quality guidance to laboratory personnel and handle escalated issues, customer complaints and system deviations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of Quality Assurance experience, including at least 2 years in a quality leadership role.
• Experience in testing, inspection or mining services industry is highly preferred.
• BSc or MSc in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Bioscience or equivalent.
• Strong organizational, planning and communication skills with willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of ISO 17025 and ISO 17020 standards.
• In‑depth understanding of KAN accreditation requirements.
• Proficiency in root‑cause analysis, NCR and CAPA management.
• Working knowledge of coal and minerals sampling, preparation and testing methods.
• Ability to design and maintain robust Quality Management Systems.
