About the role
World Vision Japan together with Wahana Visi Indonesia is implementing the Mangrove Adaptive and Resilient Village for Enhanced Livelihoods (MARVEL) project in North Jakarta. The 60‑month program (May 2025 – April 2030) aims to rehabilitate mangrove ecosystems and improve livelihoods in a village with active and abandoned ponds. We are looking for a Project Coordinator to lead the overall implementation and drive community development activities.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the overall implementation of the MARVEL project, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Facilitate community engagement, capacity‑building workshops and livelihood interventions, coordinating with local government, development partners and community members.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Social Science, Development Planning or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in community development programmes or mangrove‑related interventions, with proven ability to work with sub‑national authorities and NGOs.
