Product Specialist – MedTech Sales

About the role

The Product Specialist will drive sales growth for Johnson & Johnson MedTech products in West Jakarta, building relationships with key medical professionals and supporting the adoption of innovative surgical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Create and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets and increase market share.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders such as surgeons, urologists, OB/GYNs, ENT specialists, pharmacists, biomedics, and procurement professionals.
• Communicate product portfolio and surgical procedures to healthcare professionals.
• Identify new business opportunities, monitor industry trends and competition, and develop expansion strategies.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
• Utilize CRM systems to manage relationships, track activities and analyze data.
• Conduct data analysis with pivot tables to generate sales reports and forecasts.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for promotional campaigns, educational programs and product launches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Public Health, Nursing, Economics, Marketing, Business, IT or related field (preferably fresh graduate or recent intern).
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of healthcare compliance and ethical business practices.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems.
• Advanced use of pivot tables for data analysis.
• Experience with sales reporting tools.
