Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning Officer (MEALO)

About the role

The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning Officer (MEALO) will support community‑level data collection, monitoring and evaluation processes, and help build learning systems for the AP Simokerto program.

Key responsibilities

• Collect routine community data to establish a community‑based monitoring and evaluation system.
• Support the program team in developing a vision for transformative child‑focused services.
• Assist the MEAL Coordinator in facilitating joint program planning with communities and grant design.
• Utilise existing resources efficiently and support project management activities.
• Facilitate capacity‑building for partners, cadres and community members on monitoring and evaluation.
• Provide technical assistance to strengthen community‑based monitoring practices.
• Coordinate with MEAL Coordinators and other staff to document project materials, reports and field learnings.
• Conduct regular monitoring, baseline surveys, and contribute to evaluation activities.
• Report community monitoring data to the MEAL Coordinator and Program Manager in an accountable and valid manner.
• Maintain and update the program database and feedback‑tracking mechanisms.
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual AP reports and build partnerships with local organisations.
