Insurance Specialist – Sales (Batam)

About the role

As an Insurance Specialist you will sell Zurich's insurance products to individual customers and small businesses via phone and email. You will identify client needs, provide appropriate solutions and help grow the business while supporting the improvement of Zurich’s products and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Sell Zurich’s propositions to new and existing clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
• Handle the customer experience end‑to‑end, resolving or escalating issues related to claims, invoicing and service delivery.
• Identify client needs, advise on suitable insurance solutions and cross‑sell additional offerings.
• Ensure accurate and timely issuance of quotations, collaborating with the customer service team when needed.
• Maintain data integrity within relevant systems.
• Follow sales behaviour standards and local organisational processes.
• Support marketing campaigns and contribute ideas to enhance products, services and processes.
• Collaborate with other units, provide training and participate in projects as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of sales experience in general insurance.
• Knowledge of general insurance products, policy terms, underwriting rules and claims processes.
