Credit Analyst Trainee (3-6 Month Internship)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Credit Analyst Trainee to join our Credit Risk team for a 3‑6 month internship in South Jakarta. The role offers hands‑on exposure to the full credit lifecycle of Indonesia’s unique Bailout Program, from origination to portfolio monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preliminary KYC checks and verify customer identities in line with OJK and internal policies.
• Assist senior analysts by reviewing credit applications, collecting and validating supporting documents, and preparing files for further evaluation.
• Analyze bank statements to assess income stability, cash‑flow patterns, and potential financial stress indicators.
• Conduct credit report analysis using SLIK/IDEB and internal data to evaluate repayment history and overall creditworthiness.
• Maintain accurate records of credit decisions, exceptions, and document submissions in trackers, dashboards, and CRM tools.
• Monitor the active portfolio for early‑warning signals, draft warning letters, and escalate high‑risk cases to senior analysts.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or final‑year student in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to handle client interactions confidently.
• Excellent multi‑tasking and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, filters and pivot tables.
