Credit Analyst

About the role

The Credit Analyst will evaluate the creditworthiness of loan applicants for PT Flin Consultancy Indonesia, supporting the company’s risk‑management objectives in the sub‑prime consumer market. The role involves detailed financial analysis, compliance checks, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure informed credit decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze credit bureau reports, bank statements and KYC documents to assess applicant creditworthiness and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct financial analyses and risk assessments to determine loan eligibility and align decisions with the company’s risk appetite.
• Develop, implement and monitor risk‑management strategies, recommending mitigation measures and tracking key risk indicators.
• Communicate credit decisions effectively and collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve assessment processes and tools.
• Maintain detailed records of assessments, prepare portfolio performance reports, and support management with presentations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes and best practices in credit risk management.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of credit assessment models and analytical tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Experience in financial services, preferably with consumer credit, loans or sub‑prime lending.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret consumer bureau reports, bank statements and KYC documentation.
• Understanding of regulatory standards and credit‑policy compliance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
