Construction Project Manager (Civil Projects)

About the role

AMODA is looking for an experienced, highly organised Project Manager with a strong background in civil projects, specifically the construction of warehouses, factories and other medium to large-scale industrial structures. The role is central to planning, executing and completing upcoming civil construction projects on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards, working closely with site teams, managing subcontractors and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil construction projects (warehouses, factories, industrial facilities) and other commercial and prefabricated projects.
• Develop project plans, budgets and schedules to guide execution.
• Work with architects, engineers and site teams so that each phase meets technical and design specifications.
• Oversee subcontractors and suppliers for quality, timelines and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes and legal requirements.
• Carry out risk assessments and quality control inspections and resolve issues during construction.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders, reporting progress and milestones.
• Manage project resources efficiently and identify process improvements.
• Lead and mentor project teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing civil construction projects.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget and to specification.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations and legal requirements in civil and commercial construction.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

Required skills

• Knowledge of construction project management tools and best practices.
• Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or similar.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams at once.
