Citizen Analyst – Data Engineering & Analytics Automation

About the role

As a Citizen Analyst – Data Engineering & Analytics Automation you will unlock the power of data across Nestlé’s business functions. You will design reporting solutions, automate data pipelines and deliver insights that enable better decision‑making in Supply Chain, Finance, Sales and Marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that support business decision‑making.
• Build and optimise data solutions on Snowflake to ensure accurate, accessible data for users.
• Develop end‑to‑end data pipelines that integrate multiple source systems.
• Automate recurring reports and data processes to improve efficiency.
• Explore innovative technologies such as Databricks, AI and modern cloud‑based analytics platforms.
• Monitor and resolve data‑quality and reporting issues.
• Support data‑governance initiatives and maintain clear documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• Proven experience creating Power BI dashboards, including data modelling and visualisation.
• Hands‑on experience with Snowflake and Azure Data Factory.
• Familiarity with Databricks, cloud technologies and programming in SQL or Python.
• Experience working with multiple data sources such as SAP, SharePoint and cloud databases.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to explain insights to non‑technical audiences.
• Proactive, organised and able to work independently as well as collaborate with global teams.
• Experience in FMCG, consumer goods or retail is a plus.
