Water Resources Lead

About the role

As a Water Resources Lead, you will guide multidisciplinary teams through the design, analysis, and construction of water infrastructure projects. This senior position offers the chance to work on large, multi‑discipline assignments while developing a broad range of engineering skills.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project teams of engineers, designers, and field staff in the design, modification, and constructability review of water systems.
• Coordinate and facilitate meetings with stakeholders, including state and local agencies.
• Prepare proposals, scopes, schedules, and budgets for new projects and support oral presentations.
• Interface with clients, negotiate contract revisions, and manage sub‑consultant agreements.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with codes and client requirements.
• Conduct independent technical reviews of calculations and drawings.
• Take ownership of projects from inception through final delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineering License.
• 8+ years of experience in water facilities engineering, design, or construction.
• Proven ability to manage complex engineering projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Civil3D (preferred).
• AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• 2D Modeling.
• Microsoft Office Suite.
