Regional Manager – KREASI Education Program

About the role

The Regional Manager will oversee implementation of the KREASI project in two districts of Maluku Utara province, ensuring high‑quality program delivery, partner coordination, and compliance with donor and safeguarding requirements. Based in the province with frequent travel, the role includes managing budgets, leading the provincial team, and representing Save the Children in stakeholder engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and coordination of program implementation, overseeing delivering partners to ensure high‑quality, timely, and compliant programming.
• Oversee and support implementing partners to deliver programs, ensuring adherence to workplans, designs, performance benchmarks, safeguarding standards and MEAL requirements.
• Support partner assessment, selection and onboarding, and oversee capacity‑strengthening efforts.
• Ensure timely and accurate donor reporting, consolidating inputs from partners and maintaining compliance with donor requirements.
• Manage compliance, risk, and child safeguarding across all activities, including reviewing partner reports and implementing risk‑mitigation plans.
• Lead stakeholder engagement, building relationships with provincial and district government authorities and representing Save the Children in local forums.
• Provide leadership to the provincial team, managing performance, coaching staff and ensuring professional development.
• Oversee regional program budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure financial reporting aligns with donor regulations and Save the Children policies.
