Accounting and Tax Officer

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting and Tax Officer to join our finance team in Jakarta. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, managing tax compliance and supporting audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain journal entries, account reconciliations and general ledger management.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards.
• Monitor tax obligations, prepare and lodge tax returns (income tax, VAT) and liaise with tax authorities.
• Reconcile bank statements, manage cash‑flow monitoring and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in accounting or tax roles, preferably in a professional services or corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Professional certification such as Brevet A or Brevet B is preferred.
• Fluent in Indonesian and English, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
