Mechanical Engineer – Building & Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join Aurecon’s Indonesia Built Environment business in Jakarta. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver mechanical solutions for building and infrastructure projects, ensuring designs meet client requirements and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of mechanical engineering aspects of assigned projects.
• Develop and design HVAC, plumbing and fire‑protection systems.
• Implement quality‑assurance processes and conduct site inspections to verify installations.
• Coordinate with electrical, civil, structural and architectural teams to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain communication with clients, providing updates and gathering feedback.
• Prepare and manage project documentation, including design calculations, equipment specifications and progress reports.
• Contribute to client proposals, tenders and business development activities.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in mechanical engineering for building or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and clients.
