Accounting and Finance Officer

About the role

The Accounting and Finance Officer will support the STRIDES activity of the U.S. Government Global Health Security program, ensuring sound financial management for the project and the FHI 360 Indonesia office. This role combines day‑to‑day accounting tasks with strategic financial analysis to keep the program compliant and financially healthy.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly close reports, including bank reconciliations, and submit them to corporate accounting.
• Monitor and record all financial transactions for district‑based activities, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
• Calculate and ensure compliance with tax obligations for the STRIDES project.
• Develop and adapt financial processes in line with changes in corporate policies, laws, and regulations.
• Provide budget forecasts, regulatory filings, and data analysis to support project decisions.
• Collaborate with technical, procurement, and finance teams to support project activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 5–8 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, and operational management, preferably in a government‑funded or non‑profit environment.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian statutes and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proven ability to interpret financial data, resolve discrepancies, and produce clear written reports.
