Sponsorship Information Officer - Area Program Sumba Barat Daya

About the role

The Sponsorship Information Officer (SIO) supports the sponsorship operation for the Sumba Barat Daya area program. The role administers the HOPE sponsorship information system, develops monitoring tools, and ensures alignment with national and sectoral policies.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the HOPE sponsorship information system and related SIS hardware and software.
• Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation tools for child (RC) presence, participation and wellbeing.
• Coordinate with Field Facilitators, partners and the National Office Sectoral Team to align activities with sponsorship and child protection policies.
• Support baseline surveys, focus group discussions and data collection for program planning.
• Analyse existing sponsorship business processes and propose improvements tailored to the area program context.
• Contribute to the annual operating plan, budget and SOPs for tools and equipment needed for the sponsorship information system.
• Provide technical assistance to field teams for monitoring and data entry.

Required profile

• Experience working in sponsorship, child protection or humanitarian programmes.
• Familiarity with national, regional and organisational policies related to sponsorship and child welfare.
• Ability to work closely with field staff, partners and senior management.
• Willingness to support emergency response activities when required.
