Zone Program Manager - Indonesia Timur

About the role

The Zone Program Manager will provide overall leadership and strategic oversight for Wahana Visi Indonesia’s programs in East Indonesia. This role ensures that ministry objectives and child wellbeing outcomes are achieved with the highest quality, accountability, and alignment to donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of zone‑wide programs and projects, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and donor standards.
• Coordinate with functional and sectoral teams to secure strategic support for program delivery.
• Develop and execute a zone strategy covering geographic focus, advocacy priorities, funding growth, and partnership networks.
• Align annual plans and budgets with national strategic objectives and ensure effective communication between area programs and projects.
• Identify new funding opportunities, negotiate project charters, and contribute to cross‑functional proposal development.
• Maintain high‑quality reporting and accountability mechanisms for all initiatives.
• Support emergency preparedness and response efforts, ensuring timely and coordinated assistance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading large‑scale development or humanitarian programs.
• Strong strategic planning and budgeting skills.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple functional teams and external partners.
• Experience ensuring compliance with donor regulations and organizational policies.
• Capacity to manage emergency response activities when required.
