Validation Engineer

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Validation Engineer to join its Quality & Regulatory Affairs team. The role focuses on ensuring equipment, systems, and processes meet global and local regulatory standards while supporting the company’s mission to improve eye health worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and document validation studies for equipment, systems, and processes.
• Conduct risk assessments, design protocols, analyze data, and prepare validation and qualification reports.
• Support aseptic process management and review/approve change control documentation.
• Provide audit support and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive problem‑solving and innovation.
• Follow GxP regulations, maintain SOPs, ensure accurate documentation, and complete required training.
• Promote continuous improvement and regulatory compliance across the organization.

Required profile

• Appropriate education and experience to perform validation engineering tasks.
• Ability to work within GxP frameworks and adhere to strict quality standards.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
