Tax Manager – Corporate Tax

About the role

PwC Indonesia is seeking a Tax Manager to lead corporate tax engagements in Surabaya. The role involves advising clients on local and international tax matters, supporting compliance, and delivering strategic tax solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage corporate tax projects, including international tax, M&A, and state and local tax accounting.
• Provide tax compliance and reporting services, ensuring adherence to regulations.
• Develop and implement tax strategies that align with clients’ business objectives.
• Assist clients in dispute resolution with tax authorities and manage tax accounting issues.
• Mentor junior team members, fostering their development and ensuring quality delivery.
• Analyze complex tax proposals and deliver actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree in Tax, Accounting, Law or related field.
• Professional experience in corporate tax, preferably within a Big‑Four environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to ethical standards and PwC’s professional values.
