Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

AccelByte is building a 24x7 operations team for AAA multiplayer video games. The Senior Site Reliability Engineer will maintain high service reliability, prioritize fixing critical issues, and design processes and technologies that improve detection, isolation, and mitigation of system problems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain high‑performance backend services, tools, and control planes to automate operations.
• Architect and operate a scalable deployment framework using Kubernetes and other CNCF projects.
• Provide a secure, highly‑scalable, cost‑effective cloud platform on AWS.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and outage‑handling systems for applications.
• Automate routine tasks and create tools that support product development teams.
• Write clean, well‑tested code (primarily Go and Python) for core platform components.
• Produce and maintain infrastructure documentation and SRE runbooks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver cost‑effective, high‑performance infrastructure solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of Cloud Engineering or DevOps experience, with at least 2 years focused on Kubernetes.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven ability to build infrastructure as code (Terraform) and manage configurations (Helm, GitOps).
• Experience delivering products in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work under production pressure.
