Senior Manager – IT Cybersecurity (Risk Assurance)

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Manager to join its Risk Assurance Cybersecurity practice in Jakarta. The role focuses on delivering end‑to‑end security solutions, helping clients assess, design and implement robust cyber‑risk governance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead assessments, design and implementation of cybersecurity governance frameworks for client organisations.
• Apply standards such as NIST, ISO 27000 family, PCI‑DSS, COBIT and CIS to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
• Advise clients on regulatory, data‑privacy and compliance issues related to technology risk.
• Coach and develop multidisciplinary teams, fostering an inclusive and high‑performing environment.
• Communicate complex security concepts clearly to senior business leaders and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in cybersecurity across multiple domains.
• Strong strategic advisory skills with the ability to influence and drive decisions.
• Demonstrated leadership in building and sustaining diverse teams.
• Excellent judgment, problem‑solving and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with NIST cybersecurity framework.
• Implementation of ISO 27001 (and related ISO 27000 family) controls.
• Knowledge of PCI‑DSS compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with COBIT and CIS security benchmarks.
• Risk assessment and security governance expertise.
