Senior Manager – Actuary (Insurance)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Manager in Actuarial Services to join PwC’s Assurance line in Jakarta. The role involves delivering insurance‑focused advisory and consulting services to a range of clients, including insurers, banks, regulators and third‑party administrators.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on solvency, economic capital, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Support mergers and acquisitions, company restructurings and risk‑control initiatives.
• Develop and review financial models, underwriting strategies and reserve calculations.
• Analyse the impact of new legislation on insurance balance sheets and reporting processes.
• Lead and mentor cross‑functional teams, fostering collaboration across borders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in actuarial consulting within the insurance sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to tackle ambiguous, unstructured problems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
