Senior Manager – Accounting Advisory Services (IFRS 17)

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Manager for its Assurance practice in Jakarta to lead Accounting Advisory Services focused on IFRS 17. The role involves guiding insurance clients through complex accounting and financial reporting challenges associated with the new standard and related capital‑market transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage IFRS 17 implementation projects for insurance companies.
• Provide strategic advice on technical accounting, financial reporting, and transaction structuring.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering a high‑performing, inclusive team.
• Collaborate with Directors and Partners to drive IFRS 17 market initiatives and business development.
• Validate outcomes with clients, incorporate feedback, and ensure compliance with PwC professional standards.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in assurance and accounting advisory, preferably within the insurance sector.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and navigate ambiguous situations.
