Senior Associate - Assurance - Risk Assurance (Data Analytics)

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Assurance – Risk Assurance team in Jakarta. The role focuses on applying data analytics, data‑wrangling and automation tools to help clients improve governance, risk management and decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Perform independent assessments of financial statements, internal controls and compliance with regulations.
• Develop and deliver data‑analytics solutions, including visualisation, data governance and predictive risk monitoring.
• Collaborate with clients to design processes that enable accurate, trustworthy information for strategic decisions.
• Support audit teams by integrating advanced analytics into audit procedures.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to the development of the team’s technical capabilities.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in data analysis, programming or related technical roles.
• Degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholder perspectives.
