Senior Associate – Assurance – Financial Risk Management

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate in Assurance within the CMAAS Financial Risk Management team in Jakarta. The role focuses on delivering strategic accounting and financial reporting advice for complex transactions and capital‑market activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance on technical accounting, financial reporting and transaction structures for public and private deals.
• Advise clients on complex financial risk topics, including credit, market and operational risk.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high‑quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to interpret data, generate insights and support transformational business events.
• Uphold PwC professional standards, code of conduct and independence requirements.

Required profile

• Significant experience in financial risk (credit, market, operational) within banking and consulting environments.
• Strong quantitative background, preferably with a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance or Accounting.
• Professional certifications such as FRM or CFA are highly valued.
• Internship or work experience in banking or insurance.
