Senior Associate – Assurance – Capital Markets Accounting Advisory

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate in Assurance to join its Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Services team in Jakarta. You will provide strategic guidance on technical accounting, financial reporting, and transaction structures for both public and private deals, helping clients navigate complex capital‑market events.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on accounting and financial reporting issues related to mergers, acquisitions, IPOs, bond offerings and other transformational events.
• Develop and deliver high‑quality technical accounting solutions, including IFRS and US GAAP interpretations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, anticipating needs and ensuring timely delivery.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to manage ambiguous situations and drive value‑adding outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a public accounting firm (external audit).
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Team player with strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to handle multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
• Professional certification (CPA, CA, etc.) preferred.
• Experience with IPO preparation or bond offerings is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Proficiency with Alteryx (Automation Platform) for data analysis.
• Accounting research, analysis and report writing.
