Senior Associate – Advisory Deals – Forensics (Technology)

About the role

PwC’s Forensics team in Indonesia is looking for a Senior Associate to strengthen its Advisory Deals – Forensics (Technology) practice. You will work on cyber‑threat protection, vulnerability management and financial‑crime investigations, helping clients safeguard their digital assets and data.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire forensic data from diverse digital sources while preserving evidence integrity and chain of custody.
• Perform detailed forensic analysis to uncover fraudulent activities and financial anomalies.
• Investigate cyber‑crime incidents by collecting, preserving and analysing logs, emails and file metadata.
• Use specialised data‑analytics tools to generate actionable insights for fraud, AML and litigation engagements.
• Prepare clear, client‑ready forensic reports summarising findings, methodology and recommendations.
• Act as the primary client contact during engagements, providing updates and clarifying technical results.
• Collaborate with forensic accountants, investigators, legal advisors and technology experts to deliver integrated solutions.
• Contribute to team knowledge sharing and training on digital‑evidence handling and forensic tools.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of experience in cybersecurity or forensic technology.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for uncovering financial discrepancies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
