Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to lead our inspection team at PT Surya Toto Indonesia. The role ensures that manufacturing processes meet the company’s stringent quality standards and supports continuous improvement in a sanitary products environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the inspection team.
• Monitor production processes to prevent defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Analyze production results and generate reports for management.
• Assign tasks to field staff and oversee their execution.
• Conduct internal and field audits in line with international quality management systems.
• Manage non‑conforming products, including hold and reject procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering (minimum GPA 3.30).
• 1–2 years of relevant experience or internship.
• Strong knowledge of international quality management standards.
• Willingness to work in Serpong‑Tangerang.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the 7 QC Tools.
• Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Calibration and Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
• 8D / Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) methodologies.
• Implementation of 5S/5R practices.
• Occupational Health and Safety (OHS/HSE) procedures.
