Project Coordinator – PASTI Stunting Reduction Project

About the role

The Project Coordinator will lead the implementation of the Partnership to Accelerate Stunting Reduction in Indonesia (PASTI) project in Nabire, Papua. Reporting to the Team Leader, the role focuses on planning, monitoring, capacity building and partnership management to reduce childhood stunting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the project’s annual operating plan, research, baseline studies and monitoring activities.
• Manage project budgets in line with WVI financial policies and USAID donor requirements.
• Identify and strengthen the capacity of community groups, local partners and project staff.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, child protection, PSEA and GEDSI policies.
• Monitor field implementation, prepare monthly reports and facilitate community advocacy.
• Coordinate with local government, NGOs, and other stakeholders to sustain project outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in public health, nutrition or community development.
• Experience working with local communities in Papua, especially Mimika or Asmat, is preferred.
• Proven ability to plan, implement, monitor and evaluate development projects.
• Strong networking skills with district‑level government and familiarity with childhood nutrition working groups.

Required skills

• Familiarity with donor reporting requirements and high‑quality documentation.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is a plus.
