Production Engineer – Manufacturing Optimization

About the role
We are looking for a Production Engineer to design, manage, and continuously improve our manufacturing processes. The role focuses on delivering efficient, safe, and cost‑effective production while minimizing waste and ensuring high product quality.
Key responsibilities
- Design, manage, and optimize manufacturing processes for low pressure die casting and related operations.
- Monitor product quality, conduct defect analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Reduce waste and improve cost efficiency through Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Troubleshoot technical issues on the shop floor and support new machinery installation.
- Develop and modify jigs, fixtures, and tooling to enhance production flow.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.30.
- 1–2 years of relevant work experience or internship.
- Willingness to work on‑site in the Serpong‑Tangerang area.

- Lean Manufacturing
- Industrial Automation systems
- Karakuri Automation
- Low Pressure Die Casting (LPDC) process knowledge
- Jig and fixture fabrication/modification
- Time study and defect analysis
- Occupational Health and Safety (OHS/HSE) implementation
- Engineering drawing interpretation
- Machinery installation and setup
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or equivalent drawing software
