Product Specialist – IT Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer‑oriented Product Specialist to join our team in West Jakarta. You will act as a trusted advisor throughout the customer journey, providing technical expertise, designing tailored IT solutions, and supporting the sales process.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze customers' business and technical requirements together with the Account Manager.
• Design and recommend suitable IT solutions based on needs and objectives.
• Prepare technical proposals, solution designs, and Bills of Material aligned with our product portfolio.
• Conduct technical validation, pricing reviews, product presentations, demos, Proof of Concept and technical discussions.
• Maintain product portfolios, price lists, solution packages and margin structures.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to create product materials, technical documentation, campaigns, webinars and success stories.
• Build relationships with principals and vendors to stay updated on roadmaps, new features and partnership programs.
• Coordinate deal registration and provide technical or commercial support to principals and vendors.
• Deliver internal product knowledge sharing and technical training sessions.
• Prepare regular reports on product performance, sales forecasts and business opportunities.
• Ensure smooth handover to Delivery or Technical teams with complete documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Product Specialist, Pre‑Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer, Account Manager or similar technical sales role.
• Track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• General IT knowledge in Software, Infrastructure, Backup & Disaster Recovery, Security or Network Management.
• Experience preparing technical proposals and product presentations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
