Product Development Engineer – Fashion Dolls

About the role

Mattel is looking for a Product Development Engineer to work on fashion dolls, based in Cikarang-Bekasi. The role turns original sketches into fully defined products and works closely with designers in the headquarters and regional offices.

Key responsibilities

• Translate original sketches and define the full specification and functional product of fashion dolls.
• Work on fashion doll art creation, control drawings and artwork for decoration.
• Research materials and trends to support the development process.
• Review projects and suggest cost-saving ideas so they meet the cost target.
• Work closely with stakeholders, including the designer teams in the headquarters and regional office.

Required profile

• Minimum diploma in Product Design or another design diploma; engineering background with a passion for design is welcome.
• At least 3 years of experience as a product designer is a plus; fresh graduates are also welcome.
• Willingness to be located in Cikarang-Bekasi.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and 3D software such as Freeform, Rhino or Blender.
• Computer literacy.
• Professional English communication.
• Proactive, open-minded and team player.
