Mechanical Site Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Site Engineer to join our DSCO data centre project in Jakarta. You will work closely with the Lead Mechanical Engineer to ensure that all mechanical installations, especially cooling systems, are carried out safely, accurately and in line with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform verification, issue identification and reporting for all mechanical works on site.
• Support the Lead Mechanical Engineer in supervising installation of mechanical systems according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements and inspection/test plans.
• Coordinate closely with power, fire protection, structural, plantroom and civil teams to resolve spatial and interface issues.
• Ensure material approvals and compliance with project requirements throughout the construction phase.
• Contribute to commissioning readiness by monitoring the performance of cooling infrastructure and related systems.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in mechanical installation for data centre or similar high‑availability facilities.
• Strong understanding of cooling infrastructure, HVAC and related building services.
• Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced environment and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
