Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Aurecon is expanding its Indonesia Built Environment business and seeks a Mechanical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team delivering high‑rise, mission‑critical and data‑centre projects across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, coordination and documentation of specialist mechanical building services, focusing on HVAC or hydraulic (plumbing) systems.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers and other specialists to develop innovative engineering solutions for complex facilities.
• Support large‑scale data‑centre projects, contributing to the design and implementation of critical mechanical systems.
• Provide technical expertise from concept through detailed design, construction support and commissioning.
• Implement and maintain quality‑assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet required standards.
• Conduct site inspections to verify installation against design specifications.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design calculations, equipment specifications and progress reports.

Required profile

• Qualified Mechanical Engineer with experience in HVAC or hydraulic (plumbing) system design.
• Proven experience on high‑rise buildings, mission‑critical facilities or data‑centre projects.
• Ability to lead technical aspects of projects and resolve engineering issues.
• Strong understanding of quality‑assurance procedures and site inspection practices.
