Manager, Business Development – IFS (Entrepreneurial & Private Business)

About the role

PwC is seeking a Manager to lead Business Development for its IFS – Entrepreneurial and Private Business practice in Jakarta. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, enhancing brand visibility and capturing new business opportunities across financial, technology and start‑up sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new market opportunities and B2B client relationships.
• Conduct market research and develop strategic plans to achieve revenue targets.
• Lead projects from planning and budgeting through execution and delivery.
• Coach, mentor and manage performance of team members.
• Ensure quality, timelines and deliverables in partnership with leadership.
• Handle client and stakeholder issues, escalating when necessary.
• Uphold PwC’s professional standards, code of conduct and independence requirements.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a managerial role.
• Background in accounting, finance or audit is advantageous.
• Experience handling B2B clients in multinational companies, preferably in finance, technology or start‑up environments.
• Strong business acumen, commercial insight and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix organisation.
