Manager, Accounting Advisory Services (IFRS 17) – Assurance

About the role

PwC is seeking a Manager in its Assurance line of service to lead Accounting Advisory Services focused on IFRS 17 implementation. Based in Jakarta, the role will support clients on complex accounting, financial reporting and capital‑markets transactions related to insurance contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver advisory projects covering IFRS 17, technical accounting and financial reporting for public and private deal transactions.
• Plan, budget, execute and monitor project timelines, ensuring quality and client expectations are met.
• Coach, mentor and develop junior staff, leveraging their strengths and managing performance.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to uphold PwC professional standards, independence requirements and code of conduct.
• Identify business opportunities and contribute to firm growth through thought leadership and innovative solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounting advisory, preferably within insurance or capital‑markets contexts.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to link system components and solve ambiguous problems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of handling difficult conversations.
• Demonstrated leadership, integrity and commitment to PwC values.
