Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor will lead the maintenance team at a plant in Jakarta, ensuring safe and efficient operation of equipment. You will be responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, and driving continuous improvement in line with EHS standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance activities following work instructions and EHS guidelines.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective repairs.
• Diagnose equipment failures, develop repair plans, and manage spare‑parts procurement.
• Train maintenance staff and evaluate their performance.
• Create and update procedures, work instructions, and related documentation.
• Prepare monthly and annual maintenance reports and monitor plant breakdowns.
• Negotiate with vendors for materials, spare parts, and services.
• Lead CAPEX projects, manage Management of Change (MOC) processes, and close audit findings.
• Oversee goods receipt, issue, and stock‑taking in the maintenance warehouse.
• Act as Deputy Maintenance Manager when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Strong communication and people‑management abilities.
• Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively.

Required skills

• Electrical and mechanical systems knowledge
• Reading and interpreting schematics, PID diagrams
• Experience with CSMS and CMMS tools
• Risk‑Based Maintenance (RBM) methodology
• ISO 9001 quality management understanding
• Project management fundamentals
• Technical drawing interpretation
• Use of measurement tools
